3 cups cherries, 3 cups whiskey (about a 5th), 2/3 cup sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves. Let sit in dark place for 3-6 months and serve for the holidays. Did this first time last year and very good.

Seems thicker this time. Different ice cream and more of it. Vanilla ice cream, 2 oz. creme de menthe, 1 oz. creme de cacao. Mix together and pour into chocolate cookie crust. Freeze again. Used Bluebell homemade vanilla.

I know this from Better Call Saul. 2 oz. vodka. 1/2 oz. lime juice. 3 oz. ginger beer. Lime wheel garnish. Fill copper mug with ice and then add vodka and lime juice and top with ginger beer.
Another experiment. Half container vanilla ice cream. 1.5 oz creme de menthe, 1.5 oz. creme de cacao. Stir together and pour into chocolate cookie pie crust. Freeze. Needed more ice cream. A little soft.

Latest batch of cherry bounce. Still have half a bottle of the Four Roses batch and I made a blueberry version. Next one I make may be a big one for family for the holidays.
3 cups cherries, 3 cups whiskey (one fifth), 2/3 cup sugar, one cinnamon stick, two whole cloves. Let sit in a dark place for 3-4 months.
1.5 oz. rum, 3/4 oz. orange liqueur, 3/4 oz. lime juice, 1/2 oz. orgeat, 1/2 oz. dark rum. Lime wheel garnish. Didn't have mint. Shake with ice and strain. Used Cointreau because I had an old bottle in a cabinet. Layer the dark rum on top.
New wrinkle on the cherry bounce recipe for the holidays. Frozen blueberries, sugar, whiskey, cinnamon stick. Let sit in dark place 3-4 months.
3 cups blueberries, 3 cups whiskey (one fifth), 2/3 cup sugar, one cinnamon stick.
2 oz. rye whiskey (or bourbon), 1 oz. sweet vermouth, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, cherry garnish. Add whiskey, vermouth, bitters in mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into chilled glass and garnish with cherry.
Didn't have the right kind of glasses so I broke it in two, with two chilled glasses, and two cherries.
Next week the Mai Tai.
Season 4, ep. 11. Definite Possible Murder. Coach McGuirk goes to bartending school and then tries it at home.

1 oz. gin, 1 oz. sweet vermouth, 1 oz. Campari. Stir with ice in mixing cup, strain into rocks glass. Orange peel garnish. Very bitter. Trying to learn a few basic drinks this summer.
Two ancient bottles found in a cabinet. 6 ice cubes. 1 oz. creme de menthe, 1 oz. creme de cacao. Blend until smooth. Add big spoonful vanilla or mint ice cream. Blend again briefly.
Latest batch of Cherry Bounce ready today. Four Roses whiskey, sitting on the shelf for 3 yrs., 3 cups cherries, 2/3 cup sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves. Let sit in dark place 3-6 months. Have a blueberry one coming up in May.
One 5th of whiskey is close to 3 cups so I just use the whole bottle now.
Fill rocks glass with ice. Add 1/2 oz. cherry bounce to bottom. 1 shot whiskey on that. Top off with ginger ale or Sprite and stir.
Makes 2. 10-12 coffee ice cubes, little sugar, 1 shot Kahlua, 2 shots vodka, 1 shot cream/half-half. Blend coffee ice cubes, sugar, Kahlua, vodka until smooth. Add cream and briefly mix again.
Made this back in Aug. for the holidays. Turned out very good. Cherries, sugar, whiskey, cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves. Let sit 3-6 months. I would have used a whole fifth of whiskey if I had known how good it was going to be. Mixing with ginger ale tonight. Also good in cocktails and desserts.

Making now for the holidays. I'm using one bag frozen dark cherries but pitted fresh cherries are best. 2/3 cup sugar, 2 whole cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, 2-3 cups whiskey. Combine everything in a jar, shake, and store in a dark place at least 3 months. Shaking occasionally.
