Beverly Hills Cop (1984)

 

Directed by Martin Brest. Eddie Murphy. My local library has a fantastic selection of Blu-rays. The reason I bought a Blu-ray player finally. Nine times out of ten I get The Rocketeer or 48 Hrs., or something like Beverly Hills Cop. Sounds good cranked up surround sound.

My mother’s favorite comedy was Midnight Run but she didn’t like all the cursing & for years searched in vain for a copy of the movie that had the curses removed & now I hope Charles Grodin is with her in heaven explaining to her that they didn’t sell those
