Directed by Sidney J. Furie. Michael Caine. Len Deighton book. Harry Palmer series. Good books and all the movies are good as well. Otto Heller cinematography. He did two out of three of the Harry Palmer films. (Tell a lie. Billy Williams shot Billion Dollar Brain. Wiki has a mistake in Otto Heller's filmography and my mistake for not double checking the facts. I previously stated that Heller shot all three.)

The Man Who Would Be King (1975)

Directed by John Huston. One of my favorite movies. This is the terrible flip DVD but it was $3 at Big Lots!. I think I've seen the Blu-ray from the library. It was shot wide 2.39 by Oswald Morris. Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Christopher Plummer. I listened to the old radio version of the Kipling story and that was also good. Peachy has gone south for the week. Recommended.

Directed by Peter Hyams. Michael Caine. Private eye parody. Natalie Wood, Michael Constantine, Timothy Carey, Don Calfa, who is always in the Hyams movies. Written by W.D. Richter. Another one of those 70s crime films that took me a long time to find. Almost ended Hyams' career. I am a big Hyams fan and a big fan of private detective movies in general, so that was why I took the time to track it down. Natalie Wood looks great. It is pleasant enough for a Saturday afternoon.
