Norm takes a champagne cork to the forehead on his birthday in "Diane Meets Mom." I had a sparkling wine cork that would not come out and my thumb was bleeding when I got it open. No other casualties.

I had been watching later season Cheers on Pluto from 10 pm to midnight and now they've changed it up.
Cheers season 3, ep. 15, "King of the Hill." We hear this one snippet of conversation between Cliff and Norm at the bar as Sam and Diane have a ping pong marathon in the back room. We never do find out why Cliff never feared death.
One of the last Louisiana dishes in the Kinja archive. In the Cheers episode I am watching now (Fools and Their Money) Diane makes fun of Frasier for mispronouncing the word remoulade. "Diane, I am fed up with the remoulade incident!" A cold Creole appetizer and remoulade itself is a mayo based sauce.
Vintage miniature golf. Cliff and Norm on Cheers were miniature golf enthusiasts. Birdied the windmill.

Boyd Bodwell's first time in a bar on Cheers, "One for the Book," with Ian Wolfe as Buzz, the WWI veteran. Just saw Ian Wolfe in an old Sherlock Holmes movie.

"Is that a bad order?"
Ian Wolfe and Boyd Bodwell visit Cheers. "One for the Book." Season one, ep. 11. A monk and a doughboy walk into a bar. Two men with one foot in heaven.
Cheers "Abnormal Psychology" cold open. Woody wants to go fishing. I never noticed the Latin phrase Norm uses. I've used it myself here. I got it from Philip K. Dick. De gustibus non est disputandum. Although Norm left out the "est." In matters of taste there can be no dispute. IMDb has it in the trivia section below.

Directed by Arthur Ripley. Robert Mitchum. Moonshine. Found on Tubi on the list of things about to leave. A favorite of Coach and Sam on Cheers.

In the episode of Cheers entitled And Coachie Makes Three, Sam and Coach watch the movie - as part of a long-running tradition they have concerning Robert Mitchum movies.

The pool table. You've got to keep it covered. Cheers cold open season one, ep. 16.
Celtics got it going pretty good, eh? Harry the Hat meets Norm on Cheers - Sam at Eleven.
Don't show fear. He smells fear. Harry the Hat in Cheers - Pick a Con... Any Con.
Well, the Romans had an elaborate system of aqueducts, there, Sammy. They were sort of the forerunners of...
Cliff, Cliff, I need someone to help me fix the plumbing.
Oh, hey, sorry, Sammy. Strictly theory.
Five bucks says he does, ten says it's a doozy. Cheers season one, ep. 9. Coach Returns to Action. There used to be a Gif of Sam sliding the beer down the bar as Norm takes a seat but I can't find it.
LSU's Joe Burrow QB for the Bengals.
