KTTV Busting promo & station ID 1982

- A brief 1982 promo spot for the movie "Busting", starring Elliott Gould and Robert Blake, followed by a KTTV station identification.

Busting (1974)

Directed by Peter Hyams. Midnight movie. Elliott Gould, Robert Blake. Early buddy cops. Allen Garfield. I love him in this. He's the bad guy. Hyams always has a foot chase, and this is the most famous, in the hallway. Famously, how did he shoot it? No Steadicam at the time. Hyams always did his own cinematography, so that is him with the camera probably. Recommended. A great 70s crime film.

Peeper (1975)

Directed by Peter Hyams. Michael Caine. Private eye parody. Natalie Wood, Michael Constantine, Timothy Carey, Don Calfa, who is always in the Hyams movies. Written by W.D. Richter. Another one of those 70s crime films that took me a long time to find. Almost ended Hyams' career. I am a big Hyams fan and a big fan of private detective movies in general, so that was why I took the time to track it down. Natalie Wood looks great. It is pleasant enough for a Saturday afternoon.

The Narrow Margin (1952) and Narrow Margin (1990)

Again highlighting the George E. Diskant cinematography. A great train film and noir. Directed by Richard Fleischer. Marie Windsor is the woman in danger. Remade by Peter Hyams with Gene Hackman and Anne Archer. Also M. Emmet Walsh and J.T. Walsh. Works pretty well as a train double feature.
