Cherry Bounce - Four Roses

 


Latest batch of Cherry Bounce ready today. Four Roses whiskey, sitting on the shelf for 3 yrs., 3 cups cherries, 2/3 cup sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves. Let sit in dark place 3-6 months. Have a blueberry one coming up in May.

One 5th of whiskey is close to 3 cups so I just use the whole bottle now.

Whiskey Bounce

 


Fill rocks glass with ice. Add 1/2 oz. cherry bounce to bottom. 1 shot whiskey on that. Top off with ginger ale or Sprite and stir.

Cherry Bounce Cherry Cobbler

 


What to do with the booze cherries left over from making cherry bounce for the holidays? Cherry cobbler with boxed mix. Milk, butter, can of fruit or fresh fruit. 375 oven 40-45 min. I have some vanilla ice cream left from ice cream pie.

Note - This recipe did cook several min. quicker even though I upped the milk to 3/4 cup like it said on the box for fresh fruit.

Cherry Bounce 12/25

 


Made this back in Aug. for the holidays. Turned out very good. Cherries, sugar, whiskey, cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves. Let sit 3-6 months. I would have used a whole fifth of whiskey if I had known how good it was going to be. Mixing with ginger ale tonight. Also good in cocktails and desserts.

Cherry Ice Cream Pie

 


This year's ice cream pie for Thanksgiving. Vanilla ice cream, softened. One can fruit pie filling. Mix together and pour into graham cracker crust. Back in freezer to freeze again.

Cherry Bounce

 


Making now for the holidays. I'm using one bag frozen dark cherries but pitted fresh cherries are best. 2/3 cup sugar, 2 whole cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, 2-3 cups whiskey. Combine everything in a jar, shake, and store in a dark place at least 3 months. Shaking occasionally.

Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream Pie (Interior)

 


This time you can see how the cherries look frozen when it is cut.

One can cherry pie filling, vanilla ice cream, softened. Mix together and pour into graham cracker crust and freeze again.

Louisiana Fish Fry mix. Add milk, can of fruit. To peaches I added two big spoons cherry pie filling. Plus 2 tablespoons Jim Beam. 375 oven 40-45 min.

Peach and Cherry Whiskey Lazy Pies

 


Evan Williams apple whiskey I got just for cooking. House smells like apples. Instead of one or two tablespoons that I know previously will cook out, I used a half cup apple whiskey. Plus a little Jim Beam as a bracer because the apple is really apple.
