Magnum, P.I. - I Witness

 

Season four, ep. 21. I couldn't wait to jump ahead and watch this one because it is one of the best Magnums. I may go back for the Kay Lenz ep. in season four because I like that one too. Here Magnum does Rashomon. Fitting that I was watching Kurosawa yesterday. The King K Club is robbed and Higgins, Rick, and T.C. all have varying accounts of what happened. Higgins' story is of course the greatest, full of derring-do by himself. This aired May 3, 1984. Frank McRae appears uncredited as the pig.

Frank McRae, RIP

 

One of my favorite actors. He was 80 and had a heart attack. So damn funny in Used Cars (1980). I saw an early performance pretty recently in Dillinger (1973). Parodied the screaming police captain to great effect in Last Action Hero.
