Favorite movie of the Cheers gang. Diane Chambers Day playing now as I read a book and a favorite scene is when they are at the opera and when the lights go down Norm cracks open a beer. Nice sound effect. Clip below. Diane of course mentions The Seven Samurai when talking about The Magnificent Seven. In another reference in a different episode, Cliff and Norm mention that they once rented The Magnificent Ambersons, thinking it was a sequel to The Magnificent Seven, but quickly realized their mistake.
