2lbs. ground beef. 1 pkg. Italian sausage. 2 onions, 3 stalks celery, 3 cloves garlic. 3 cans diced tomato, 3 cans tomato sauce, 1 can tomato paste. Red wine. Shot of vodka. Bay leaf, thyme, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes. Anchovy paste.
After cooking down the onion, celery, garlic, and adding the diced tomatoes; add half the red wine and a little vodka and simmer the tomatoes for 10 min. to cook out the extra water and alcohol.
