A member of the pioneer automobile party in a Toledo car at the rim of the Grand Canyon, Grand View Park, Arizona, Feb. 5, 1902

 


Photograph shows a steam-powered Toledo car owned by Oliver Lippincott. The man in the car has been identified as Lippincott and also as Al Doyle, a mountain guide who accompanied Lippincott to drive the first car to the Grand Canyon.
