Wu's 3rd Top 15 TV Shows Available on Youtube

Two glaring flubs and oversights led to this third and hopefully last edition. Sledge Hammer! and Fish Police. I watched both on Youtube in the last couple of days so they are there.

1. Sledge Hammer! - Very funny cop show. I watched this whole run, two seasons, on Youtube. Since deleted, but there are some other random episodes available.

2. Fish Police - Animated. Hard boiled fish cop show. John Ritter and an All-Star cast. Only six made. Good show.

3. Double Dare - One episode is on Internet Archive. Billy Dee Williams, Ken Wahl. Crooks working for the cops. I'd like to find more of this one.

4. Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers - Good early 70s sitcom. Young Penny Marshall. Steve Landesberg as a German. They were an orchestra. I watched two on Youtube, two different channels, both deleted. Very sad for this little seen show.

5. Crazy Like a Fox - Jack Warden, John Rubinstein. Comes and goes on Youtube. I just found two more episodes yesterday. Good show.

7. Buddy Faro - Dennis Farina. Private detective. Charles Robinson, Frank Whaley, Allison Smith. Pilot is one of the best detective pilots I watched.

8. The Charmings - Just found more of this one too. Another random find you wouldn't think would be good. Prince Charming, Snow White in 80s America. Paul Winfield as the mirror.

9. The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries - Mainly Nancy Drew. Good production values in this series. Another one better than expected.

10. Matt Helm - Matt Helm the TV show. Several of these recently became available. Good show. Good production.

11. Bob - Bob Newhart went from The Bob Newhart Show, to Newhart, to Bob. Carlene Watkins. Comics. I watched several and have a couple of these taped myself original airing on VHS.

12. Shannon's Deal - John Sayles created. Good show. I watched one that was available. This was a good example of the quality shows you can find at random.

13. Dweebs - Peter Scolari, Stephen Tobolowsky, Corey Feldman. Playing dweebs. One episode showed up for a while.

https://thegoldenhornblog.blogspot.com/2020/02/dweebs.html

14. A Man Called Sloane - Robert Conrad. I watched this as a kid. More of these just became available. For a long time there was one episode with Morgan Fairchild in it. I remembered it for the guy with the mechanical hand that has different gadgets. Cheesy good rather than good show. Entertaining.

15. Busting Loose - Adam Arkin 70s sitcom. I watched six or seven. Young guy on the make on his own in the big city. Working in a shoe store. Living in a dump. Next door neighbor is a hooker with a heart of gold. Played memorably by Barbara Rhoades.
